L3Harris is seeking a highly skilled Level 4 Systems Engineer to join our dynamic team. Essential Functions:

• Generate and manage system and subsystem-level requirements specifications using requirements management tools such as DOORS ensuring accuracy and completeness throughout the lifecycle
• Conduct comprehensive requirement traceability analysis to ensure all stakeholder needs are fully addressed and covered by the system requirements.
• Document the development of system capabilities and ensure comprehensive architectural representation aligned with requirements
• Create and maintain verification matrices; actively support system verification and validation activities including test planning and execution
• Lead and manage technical teams in a collaborative environment to successfully meet project objectives
• Define and manage interfaces between system elements using Interface Control Documents (ICDs) and other means to ensure compatibility and interoperability.
• Leverage interpersonal communication and problem-solving skills to foster cross-functional teamwork and resolve technical challenges effectively
• Lead efforts to innovate and improve existing system designs. Resolve complex technical issues that arise during the design development or deployment phases.
• Perform detailed trade studies and system analysis to evaluate design options balance requirements and make informed decisions.
• Engage with customers suppliers and other external stakeholders to gather requirements provide updates and address concerns.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree (Systems Engineering Electrical Engineering Computer Engineering Aerospace Engineering Computer Science or related technical discipline) and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related lieu of a degree minimum of 10 years of prior related experience.

Preferred Additional Skills:

• Experience contributing to and/or leading design reviews (e.g. SRR PDR CDR TRR).
• RF and SATCOM Experience
• Demonstrated experience in network engineering including the design implementation and troubleshooting of complex network architectures
• Proven experience in systems engineering principles and practices
• Use modeling tools and methods (e.g. SysML UML) to create clear and detailed system architecture diagrams.
• Risk Management Experience
