As a Purchasing Specialist you will play a key role in ensuring supply continuity and operational excellence at site level. Positioned at the core of the supply chain you will translate demand into effective purchasing and replenishment actions balancing service level cost and working capital.

This role offers the opportunity to take ownership collaborate cross-functionally and contribute beyond daily operationssupporting inventory optimisation supplier performance and SIOP effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute daily purchasing activities by converting requisitions into Purchase Orders (SAP) for: Raw materials MRO Engineering services Non-stock items

• Plan monitor and adjust replenishment activities to meet production requirements and inventory targets

• Proactively manage inventory levels reducing slow-moving and obsolete stock in collaboration with Sales and Production

• Act as the main point of contact for suppliers resolving: Delivery issues Invoice discrepancies Documentation gaps

• Collaborate cross-functionally within SIOP processes contributing to: Weekly and monthly supply reviews Risk assessments and mitigation plans

• Track analyse and report KPIs to support data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement

Qualifications & Experience

• Experience in procurement purchasing or supply chain roles (preferably in engineering or manufacturing environments)

• Strong knowledge of SAP

• Advanced analytical skills using MS Excel (Power BI is a plus)

• Solid understanding of: MRP Inventory management SIOP processes

• Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across functions and with external suppliers

• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced operational environment
