Weapons
Our Weapons business works ethically to provide complex weapons systems to customers. We equip the Royal Air Force with capabilities such as AMRAAM and Paveway IV precision guided munitions: the Royal Navy with our Phalanx close-in missile defence system and the British Army with Javelin portable anti-tank guided weapon system.
Summary of Role:Raytheon UKs Weapons team is seeking a confident and driven Project Manager to lead a highperforming Integrated Project Team within the Weapons and Sensors business. This role will manage the delivery of technically complex highprofile projects while building strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders. The successful candidate will drive ontime highquality delivery identify and support new business opportunities and mentor junior Project Managers. The position also offers opportunities for national and international travel to customers and suppliers.
Essential
- Degree-qualified in a technical manufacturing or project management discipline (or equivalent experience); formal PM qualification desirable
- Proven Project Manager with experience delivering complex projects to time cost quality and P&L targets
- Strong issue scope risk and opportunity management skills
- Confident decisionmaker using project data and performance metrics
- Experience managing project finances reporting and forecasting
- Ability to lead and direct multidisciplinary teams effectively
Desirable
- Experience in relevant industry domains
- Strong stakeholder management skills including customer and senior leadership engagement
- Experience in capture/proposal management and winning bids
- Excellent communication influencing and presentation skills
- Proactive problemsolver able to work under pressure
- Credible engagement with technical specialists and budget management
