Why work at MCC:Competitive CompensationGenerous benefits package including medical dental vision disability life insurance and 401(k)Paid Holidays: New Years Memorial Day Fourth of July Labor Day Thanksgiving Day after Thanksgiving Christmas Eve Christmas Day plus two floating holidaysResponsibilities:The Printing press operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of our Komori 6 Color sheetfed makeready adjusting press components such as feeder and delivery mechanisms suction grippers guides feed wheels jogging devices tapes and cams using hand and replaces worn rollers and adjusts pressure between rollers of press using hand blankets and clean ink and ink distributing rollers and ink fountains using ink solvent and cleaning mechanism on necessary color or register corrections and/or press adjustments prior to production run to meet and maintain the quality specifications of the comprehensive knowledge of offset presswork procedures and to read and follow job specifications to determine press set-up materials needed to run the job to follow instructions to operate equipment safely and produce the desired to make adjustments to feeder and feed board (e.g. ability to adjust suctions and blast front and side guides and the timing of the head stops).Skill in performing routine operational maintenance and minor repairs to to instruct and provide guidance to junior level press assistantsQualifications:Must be able to work in a team environment.
