Job Duties:Completing repairs and preventive maintenance. Perform carpentry work plumbing electrical HVAC groundskeeping and other skilled trades work. Schedules and performs specialized preventative maintenance and repairs for equipment systems and machinery to ensure necessary inspection adjustment and replacement of parts. Maintain accurate inventory of all stock and commonly used maintenance parts. Completes duties as assigned with or without supervision. All other duties assigned within the scope of the classification.
Requirements / Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:Associates degree or equivalent vocational education in construction industrial engineering HVAC welding or other building trade. Experience in building maintenance a mechanical trade or performing safety inspections investigations or training may be substituted for education on a year-for-year basis as determined appropriate by the agency
Preferred Qualifications: Journeyman or apprentice level of trades
Work Shift: Monday-Friday 7:30am-4:30pm with some on call as needed
Other: Must be able to pass a State Patrol background check. This position requires driving. As such the incumbent must be able to present a valid drivers license or another form of reliable transportation. Regular and Reliable attendance is required.
