• Shift Type: Day Shift (5x8 Hours)
• Shift Timing: 07:00 AM 03:00 PM (Flexible between 6:00 AM 6:00 PM)
• Schedule: 5 Days per Week
• Work Schedule: No weekends no on-call no block scheduling

Position Overview

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a skilled and motivated Registered Dietitian for a 13-week travel assignment in an inpatient acute care setting at a Level II trauma and teaching hospital. This role focuses on delivering high-quality medical nutrition therapy to adult inpatient populations across multiple care units.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive nutrition assessments for adult inpatients
• Develop implement and monitor individualized nutrition care plans
• Perform enteral and parenteral nutrition order writing
• Adjust nutrition interventions based on patient progress and lab results
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams including physicians and nursing staff
• Accurately document all interventions in the Epic EMR system
• Manage a daily caseload of approximately 810 patients
• Float between assigned units as required
• Ensure adherence to clinical nutrition standards and regulatory guidelines
• Participate in patient care rounds and interdisciplinary meetings
• Provide nutrition education to patients and their families

Qualifications

• Active Washington State Dietitian License (Required)
• Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) credential (Required)
• Recent inpatient adult acute care experience (within the last 6 months)
• Strong experience with enteral and parenteral nutrition support
• Proficiency in Epic EMR system
• Ability to work across multiple units/sites as needed
• Excellent clinical judgment communication and critical thinking skills
• Ability to manage a structured inpatient caseload efficiently
• Bachelors or higher degree in Dietetics Nutrition or related field
