What Youll Do

• Clean & maintain living facilities dining areas restrooms &/or offices (for example dust mop sweep buff & wax floors
• Scrub sinks toilets countertops walls & ceilings
• Dust & clean furniture & equipment
• Empty trash
• Wash windows
• Polish mirrors & glass
• Vacuum & shampoo carpet
• replenishes soap paper towels & toilet paper
• Performs miscellaneous related duties:
  • Remove snow &/or ice from sidewalk
  • Remove litter from grounds
  • Replace light bulbs
  • Order &/or stock supplies
  • Secure doors &/or windows
  • Move furniture
  • Sort &/or wash linens

Working Conditions

• Indoor and outdoor working environments

• This is a part-time intermittent position and is therefore limited to 1000 hours per fiscal year (July 1 June 30).

• Hourly wage will be paid at step 1 with no opportunities for a pay increase.
• The final candidate selected for the position will be required to undergo a criminal background check. RuleBackground Investigations for Employment outlines disqualifying offenses that will preclude an applicant from being employed by the Department of Developmental Disabilities.
• The final applicant selected for this position will be required to submit to urinalysis prior to the appointment to test for illegal drug use. An applicant with a positive test result will not be offered employment.
