Head, Technology

About the Role

The Head Technology is responsible for leading the firms technology strategy infrastructure and digital transformation initiatives with a strong emphasis on process automation and operational efficiency.

This role will drive the adoption of modern tools streamline workflows and ensure the reliability security and scalability of the firms technology systems. The ideal candidate combines hands-on technical expertise with strategic thinking and has experience implementing automation solutions in a business environment.

Key Responsibilities

Technology Strategy & Leadership

• Define and execute a multi-year technology roadmap aligned with business growth and scalability goals.
  

• Translate business needs into technology solutions and digital initiatives.
  

• Establish technology governance frameworks standards and policies across the organization.
  

• Drive digital transformation initiatives across all business units.
  

• Evaluate emerging technologies (AI automation cloud tools) for potential adoption.
  

• Provide strategic advisory to executive leadership on technology investments and risks.
  

• Develop and manage the technology budget ensuring cost optimization and ROI.
  

• Create a technology risk register and oversee mitigation strategies.
  

Automation & Process Optimization

• Map and analyze end-to-end business processes to identify automation opportunities.
  

• Design and implement workflow automation solutions across operations finance HR and investment functions.
  

• Deploy and manage RPA bots low-code applications and integration tools.
  

• Standardize processes to ensure consistency before automation implementation.
  

• Monitor and optimize automation performance including error handling and exception management.
  

• Measure and report efficiency gains cost savings and productivity improvements from automation initiatives.
  

• Collaborate with departments to redesign workflows for maximum automation impact.
  

• Build internal capability for automation adoption and user training.
  

Network Architecture & Setup

• Design and implement secure scalable and high-performance network infrastructure across all office locations.
  

• Oversee setup and configuration of LAN WAN VPNs firewalls and wireless networks.
  

• Ensure optimal network availability bandwidth management and performance optimization.
  

• Establish network standards protocols and documentation.
  

• Manage network segmentation to enhance security and performance.
  

• Lead expansion or redesign of network infrastructure to support business growth.
  

IT Infrastructure Management

• Oversee the deployment and maintenance of core IT infrastructure including servers storage systems and cloud environments.
  

• Manage on-premise and cloud infrastructure (e.g. AWS Azure) to ensure scalability and reliability.
  

• Ensure high system uptime and availability through proactive monitoring and maintenance.
  

• Implement and maintain backup disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
  

• Monitor infrastructure performance and implement upgrades as needed.
  

Hardware & Asset Management

• Manage procurement deployment and lifecycle of IT hardware (laptops desktops servers networking devices).
  

• Establish and maintain an IT asset management system to track hardware usage and condition.
  

• Ensure standardization of hardware across the organization for efficiency and supportability.
  

• Oversee maintenance repairs and replacement of hardware assets.
  

• Optimize hardware utilization and ensure cost-effective procurement strategies.
  

Network & Infrastructure Security

• Implement and maintain network security measures including firewalls intrusion detection systems and endpoint protection.
  

• Monitor network traffic for security threats vulnerabilities and breaches.
  

• Enforce access controls authentication protocols and data protection measures.
  

• Conduct regular security audits vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.
  

• Ensure compliance with data protection policies and IT security standards.
  

Systems & Infrastructure Management

• Oversee the selection implementation and integration of core business systems (CRM ERP PMS).
  

• Ensure system interoperability through APIs and middleware solutions.
  

• Manage cloud infrastructure hosting environments and system scalability.
  

• Monitor system performance uptime and reliability implementing improvements where needed.
  

• Establish disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
  

• Maintain IT asset management systems and ensure optimal utilization.
  

• Oversee system upgrades patches and lifecycle management.
  

• Ensure proper documentation of all systems configurations and processes.
  

Data Management & Reporting Enablement

• Develop and implement data governance frameworks to ensure data quality accuracy and security.
  

• Design and deploy automated dashboards and reporting systems for business units.
  

• Integrate data across systems to create a single source of truth for decision-making.
  

• Support advanced analytics initiatives by ensuring data availability and structure.
  

• Define data standards ownership and access controls across the organization.
