COMPENSATION
Hourly: $30.00/Hour
JOB SUMMARY
The Expeditor plays a critical role in supporting sales and operations by ensuring customer orders are processed accurately and efficiently. This position serves as a central point of coordination between sales operations warehouse and customers to maintain clear communication and timely order execution. The role reports to the Company President and supports daily business operations in a fast-paced environment. This is a full-time position with standard weekday business hours. Success in this role requires strong organization attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Requirements
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Process customer orders including ordering materials and tracking order status.
- Communicate with customers and internal teams via phone and email regarding order updates changes and timelines.
- Maintain and update project documentation including product specifications drawings and floorplans.
- Coordinate with warehouse staff subcontractors and internal departments to ensure accuracy and completeness of project documentation.
- Monitor project progress and communicate updates changes and reminders to appropriate stakeholders.
- Ensure all documentation is accurate and aligned with project requirements.
- Follow and enforce company safety policies and procedures.
- Other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
Required Qualifications:
- 1 years of experience supporting sales project teams or administrative operations.
- Experience in flooring construction or a related industry preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience with RFMS or similar business management systems preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic math skills sufficient to support order processing and related transactions.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
The physical demands described below are representative of those required to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.
- Stationary Position: Ability to remain in a stationary position (sitting or standing) for up to 75100% of the workday.
- Mobility: Frequently required to move throughout the office showroom and warehouse areas to access materials documents and team members.
- Lifting/Carrying: Occasionally lifts and/or moves items weighing up to 10 pounds.
- Positioning: May be required to bend stoop kneel or reach while handling documents or materials.
- Manual Dexterity: Frequently operates a computer and standard office equipment.
- Communication: Ability to effectively communicate and exchange accurate information with customers vendors and team members in a professional environment.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
The work environment characteristics described below are representative of those encountered while performing the essential functions of this position.
- Office/Design Center: Professional climate-controlled office environment with moderate noise levels.
- Warehouse/Facility: May be exposed to non-climate-controlled environments (heat and cold) moving equipment and varying noise levels when interacting with warehouse operations.
