Job Summary

Color Sorter Technician: Handles maintenance troubleshooting and setups.

Key Responsibilities

Machine Operation & Setup: Configure and run color sorters (e.g. Redwave Binder-Clarity) to process raw materials.

Maintenance & Calibration: Perform regular preventative maintenance calibration and cleaning of optical sensors and sorting components.

Troubleshooting: Diagnose and fix mechanical electrical or software issues with the equipment to minimize downtime.

Quality Control: Monitor product quality to ensure foreign materials (e.g. glass rocks) and defects are removed.

Data Management: Log record and analyze data regarding production quality and machine performance.
