About the role

The City of Hobart is seeking a Business Process Digitisation Officer to support the improvement and digitisation of business processes across the organisation.

This role contributes to identifying documenting and improving business processes and supporting the implementation of practical digitally enabled solutions. Working in collaboration with business areas and ICT teams the role helps improve efficiency consistency and service delivery outcomes.

The Business Process Digitisation Officer supports Councils broader digital improvement initiatives by applying consistent approaches to process analysis and change.

About you

The successful applicant will have experience in business process analysis improvement and digitisation. This includes working with stakeholders to understand business needs and support practical process improvements enabled by digital solutions.

They will demonstrate:

  • experience documenting and analysing business processes
  • sound judgement in identifying process improvement opportunities
  • a collaborative approach to working with business and ICT stakeholders
  • clear and effective communication with nontechnical audiences.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Information Technologyor extensive equivalent experience.
