Job Summary
Our client an established civil engineering and project management contractor based in Cape Town is looking for an experienced and driven Civil Engineering Site Agent to join their team on a permanent basis. This is a hands-on operational role for someone who takes pride in delivering projects safely on time and within budget while leading site teams with confidence and professionalism.
Requirements:
- Relevant degree or diploma in civil engineering or a related field
- SACPCMP registration or similar professional registration is preferable
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar site agent or operational role within the civil engineering sector
- Strong experience in planning and programming using MS Projects and/or Candy
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office with strong Excel skills in particular
- Sound contractual knowledge and commercial awareness
- Solid understanding of construction methods budgeting and health and safety standards
- Strong organisational analytical and interpersonal skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects work to deadlines and solve problems under pressure
- Self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Valid drivers license
- Own reliable transport
