AI Internship – IFS ERP & Cloud Platform

IFS is seeking a forward-thinking AI Intern for a 10 to 12-week internship to support our innovation initiatives in applying AI and machine learning within the IFS Cloud platform. Youll work closely with product managers engineers and data scientists to design build and validate AI solutions that extend the intelligence of our ERP offeringunlocking predictive insights automation and smarter decision-making for our customers. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Collaborate with the regional AI lead and the CTO Office to research and prototype AI capabilities aligned with ERP EAM and FSM workflows. 
• Analyze structured and unstructured data from IFS Cloud modules (e.g. manufacturing finance supply chain service) to extract insights. 
• Build test and evaluate ML models for real-world use cases such as: 
• Predictive maintenance for assets 
• AI-driven demand forecasting and inventory optimization 
• Intelligent resource planning and scheduling 
• Natural language search and chatbot integration within IFS Cloud 
• Assist in the design of explainable and responsible AI features aligned with IFSs ethical AI practices. 
• Participate in internal demos and innovation sprints presenting your work to stakeholders across product and engineering. 

Qualifications :

• Pursuing a Bachelors degree in Computer Science Artificial Intelligence Data Science or a related field. 
• Knowledge of machine learning concepts model lifecycle and common frameworks (e.g. scikit-learn PyTorch TensorFlow). 
• Hands-on experience with Python SQL and data-wrangling techniques. 
• Familiarity with ERP systems or business processes in manufacturing field service or asset management is a strong plus. 
• Exposure to cloud platforms (e.g. Azure) and data pipeline tools is beneficial. 
• Self-motivated curious and eager to solve complex business challenges through AI.
