Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented QA Engineer to join our team. As a QA Engineer you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our masonry projects. You will work closely with our project managers engineers and construction teams to identify and resolve any quality issues ensuring that our projects meet or exceed industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement quality control procedures and processes to ensure the reliability and accuracy of our masonry projects
- Conduct regular inspections and audits of construction sites to identify any quality issues and provide recommendations for improvement
- Collaborate with project managers and engineers to develop quality assurance plans and set project-specific quality standards
- Review project specifications and drawings to identify potential quality issues and provide input for improvement
- Conduct material testing and analysis to ensure they meet project specifications and industry standards
- Document and maintain accurate records of all quality control activities and findings
- Train and educate construction teams on quality control procedures and processes
- Communicate with clients and stakeholders regarding quality assurance and control processes providing regular updates on project progress and any issues that may arise
- Participate in project meetings to provide input and recommendations for quality improvements
- Stay updated on industry standards and regulations related to masonry construction and incorporate them into our quality control processes
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering Construction Management or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in quality assurance/control in the construction industry preferably in masonry projects
- Strong knowledge of construction materials methods and techniques
- Experience with quality control procedures and processes
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify potential quality issues
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software programs
Working Conditions:
This is a full-time on-site position that may require occasional travel to project sites. The QA Engineer will work closely with the project team and may be required to work extended hours to meet project deadlines.
