Job Title: User Experience (UX) Designer
Desired Location: Brooklyn New York
Duration: Contract (6 Months)
Job Summary
The UX Designer will lead the end-to-end design process for mobile and web applications focusing on creating intuitive accessible and user-centered digital experiences. This role emphasizes research-driven design usability and building solutions that serve diverse user populations.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct stakeholder interviews and user research to understand user needs and challenges.
- Develop user personas journey maps and end-to-end experience flows.
- Translate user insights into functional and technical design requirements.
- Create high-fidelity wireframes and UI designs for mobile and web applications.
- Develop content strategies with clear accessible and user-friendly messaging.
- Build interactive prototypes using tools such as Figma and Adobe Creative Cloud.
- Facilitate usability testing and iterate designs based on feedback.
- Ensure consistency with design systems and brand guidelines.
- Collaborate with engineers product managers and stakeholders in an agile environment.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 4 years of experience in UX or Product Design
- Strong expertise in user research methodologies (qualitative and quantitative)
- Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma and Adobe Creative Cloud
- Experience working in cross-functional teams (engineering product design)
- Strong communication and presentation skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience designing for multilingual user interfaces
- Experience designing for mobile applications (iOS/Android) and responsive web platforms
- Knowledge of accessibility standards and inclusive design (e.g. screen readers contrast typography)
- Experience working with enterprise or large-scale design systems
