Working for our team you can truly make a are currently looking for Machine Operators and Printing Assistants/Support to join our role follows a 223 rotating schedule: Week 1: Work 2 days off 2 days work 3 days Week 2: Off 2 days work 2 days off 3 daysThis twoweek cycle repeats work at MCC:Competitive compensation Starting Pay $18.50p/h - $20.00p/hPlus $1.00p/h for night shift premium$40/month fitness reimbursement program for shoesPaid Holidays: New Years Memorial Day Fourth of July Labor Day Thanksgiving Day after Thanksgiving Christmas Eve Christmas Day plus two floating HolidaysMCC offers a competitive wage and generous benefits package including medical dental vision disability life insurance and 401(k).Responsibilities:Operates a number of machines to help create labels and flexible checks for print and seam defective material and splices the roll web back together per the a ruler safety knife and hole punch during splicing procedure (tools are used at other times as necessary).Handles rolls and palletizes them accordingly as to not cause damage to understand basic printing and seam related and maintains all defined job objectives related to the planning and execution of all jobs and quick changesAssists in the performance of all external make-ready operations in preparation for changeover activities (changing from one label job to another)Assists in the performance of all external clean-up activities following changeoverCleans ink pans and ancillary equipmentStrips plates from cylindersLocates dies to and from pressMay be required to work with press operator to view labels with assistance of strobe lightComply with quality assurance specifications of the customer and MCCMay be required to complete quality assurance sheet and associated documentationResponsible for working overtime when needed and as assignedRelated duties as assignedRecording and entering data on designated paperwork as well as in the company operation system (Globetek).Participates in special projects and performs other duties as :Ability to add and subtract multiply and divide to figure label counts and conversions. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement volume and to use simple windows based be able regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
