About the Role
This role supports the Group Regulatory Affairs team by strengthening compliance and risk practices and relationships with national regulators and internal stakeholders. You will manage regulatory interactions influence key matters and contribute to clear timely advice that supports effective risk outcomes across the Group.
What Youll Do
Support regulatory engagement by coordinating and negotiating responses and correspondence information requests and formal interactions with key Australian regulators
Partner with internal stakeholders to provide clear timely advice and constructive challenge on regulatory issues and reform matters
Track manage and document regulatory issues and actions accurately within relevant systems
Contribute to consultation responses and regulatory change activities that impact the Group
Prepare briefings reporting and analysis for senior leadership and Boards on regulatory engagement matters
Support improvements to regulatory frameworks tools and processes that strengthen risk culture and compliance outcomes
What Youll Bring
Experience in financial services risk or compliance roles with exposure to regulatory or governance environments
Demonstrated ability to manage sensitive and confidential information with accuracy and discretion
Strong analytical skills to interpret regulatory requirements and translate them into practical guidance
Experience building and enhancing effective relationships with senior stakeholders and external partners
Capability to manage multiple priorities while delivering quality outcomes within required timeframes
Tertiary qualifications in Law Risk Management Business or equivalent experience (desired)
