NewsNation Summer Intern Creative Producer (New York)

Nexstar Media Group and NewsNation is seeking a Creative Producerinternfor Summer 2026. Youll be hands on and learn how to produce high-end national television promos for NewsNation. The paidinternships will run from approximately June 1st August 14 2026.

This is your opportunity to be a part of a growing national television news network. Experience the process of television promotion from writing to the final edit. You will be side by side with some of the biggest television professionals and have your work seen on television and streaming platforms. Thisinternship is on-site in our downtown New York City offices 20 hours a week.

Entry-level Video editing skills required
Experience in writing scripts
Beginner to intermediate (or higher) in Adobe After Effects Adobe Premiere and Adobe Photoshop
Must be comfortable with a fast-paced working environment.
Must be comfortable working solo or with others in a collaborative team environment.
Must provide a link to an on-line video portfolio including writing examples and references

Desired Characteristics

Ideal Backgrounds Include: Journalism or Broadcast Journalism Digital/New Media Studies Communications Marketing Public Relations Production English Social Media Research.

Must be a team player.

Must be self-motivated.

Must be able to take feedback and constructive criticism.

Salary Range: $17/hour

Qualifications/Requirements

Must be pursuing an Associates Bachelors or Masters degree at an accredited Institution and be able to provide documentation to confirm your degree progress.

Current class standing of sophomore or above

Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above

Must be 18 years of age or older

The ability to work at NewsNation corporate office and studio in NYC.
