ProServe Cloud Architect, Professional Services SAP

The Amazon Web Services Professional Services (ProServe) team is seeking a skilled Delivery Consultant to join our team at Amazon Web Services (AWS). In this role youll work closely with customers to design implement and manage AWS solutions that meet their technical requirements and business objectives. Youll be a key player in driving customer success through their cloud journey providing technical expertise and best practices throughout the project lifecycle.
Possessing a deep understanding of AWS products and services as a Delivery Consultant you will be proficient in architecting complex scalable and secure solutions tailored to meet the specific needs of each customer. Youll work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements assess current infrastructure and propose effective migration strategies to AWS. As trusted advisors to our customers providing guidance on industry trends emerging technologies and innovative solutions you will be responsible for leading the implementation process ensuring adherence to best practices optimizing performance and managing risks throughout the project.
The AWS Professional Services organization is a global team of experts that help customers realize their desired business outcomes when using the AWS Cloud. We work together with customer teams and the AWS Partner Network (APN) to execute enterprise cloud computing initiatives. Our team provides assistance through a collection of offerings which help customers achieve specific outcomes related to enterprise cloud adoption. We also deliver focused guidance through our global specialty practices which cover a variety of solutions technologies and industries.

Key job responsibilities
Solution Design: Creating and leading complex scalable and secure AWS solutions for SAP workloads including SAP RISE S/4HANA migrations and cloud-native deployments to deliver measurable customer business outcomes
Technical Guidance: Providing deep SAP technical expertise and best practices across pre-sales and implementation phases including system conversions greenfield implementations and hybrid cloud architectures
Customer Advisory: Acting as a trusted advisor to customers on SAP product strategy market trends and emerging technologies including BTP Clean Core and AI-powered ERP capabilities
Collaboration: Working closely with Account Managers SAP and Shared Delivery Teams to ensure proposed SAP transformation solutions are realistic achievable and aligned to business priorities
Knowledge Sharing: Mentoring training and creating reusable SAP delivery assets within the organization to accelerate future engagements and drive continuous improvement
Business Translation: Translating complex SAP technical concepts into tangible business value for both technical and executive audiences

About the team
The AWS Professional Services SAP practice is responsible for helping enterprise customers modernize and transform their SAP landscapes on AWS. We work hand-in-hand with customer teams SAP and AWS partners to provide deep expertise in the architecture design migration and implementation of SAP solutions that deliver real business outcomes. As part of our team you will accelerate SAP cloud adoption while advocating for customer success and growing the SAP CoDE practice to new revenue streams.

- Experience in external or internal customer facing complex and large scale project management
- Experience with SAP architecture solution design and technology consulting experience
- Hands-on experience delivering complex SAP transformation programs including S/4HANA migrations system conversions and greenfield implementations
- Experience with SAP RISE BTP and cloud-native SAP deployments
- Experience with cloud-based solutions (AWS or equivalent) in the context of SAP workloads
- Experience with SAP cloud and on-premise integration experience including OData APIs and event-driven architectures
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field or experience of equivalent professional experience
- AWS Professional level certification or SAP certification (SAP Certified Technology Associate or equivalent)
- Deep knowledge of SAP surrounding platforms including SAP BW SAP PO (Interfaces) Supply Chain and adjacent technologies

- Experience with SAP automation intelligent process automation and AI/GenAI integration within ERP environments
- Strong understanding of Clean Core principles SAP extensibility and the evolving SAP product roadmap
- Knowledge of security and compliance standards including HIPAA GDPR and SAP security best practices
- Experience working across cross-functional teams to build and scale SAP delivery practices and open new revenue streams
- Strong communication skills with executive presence and the ability to engage and influence at the CxO level
- Proven track record of building SAP practices driving business development and growing revenue in a consulting environment
