OVERVIEW

(Archer Wright JV) is currently seeking a Rodman for the (TSENC/ I-26 Downtown Connector) in(Asheville NC).

The Rodman will perform field layout and measurements for grade stakes and mark reference points as instructed by Instrument Engineer or Surveyor.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Complete field surveying tasks such as measurement of distance for setting stakes
• May assist Surveyor in establishing elevation points and other field layout
• Provide care to survey equipment specifically chain and rod used for placing stakes
• May perform other related duties as required

QUALIFICATIONS

• 1 year of construction experience preferred
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs; may be required to work in adverse weather conditions
• Requires the ability to comply with all safety policies and procedures; communicate effectively with co-workers and supervisors to ensure projects are completed properly
• Possess a strong work ethic and desire to learn
• Requires good manual dexterity; may be standing bending kneeling or sitting for long periods
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening

RESPONSABILIDADES

Las responsabilidades incluyen pero no se limitan a:

• Completar tareas de topografía de campo como la medición de distancia para establecer apuestas
• Puede ayudar al topógrafo a establecer puntos de elevación y otro diseño de campo
• Proporcione atención para inspeccionar equipos específicamente de cadenas y varillas utilizadas para colocar estacas
• Puede realizar otras tareas relacionadas según sea necesario

CALIFICACIONES

• 1 año de experiencia en construcción preferido
• Debe poder levantar hasta 50 libras; puede ser requerido para trabajar en varias condiciones climáticas
• Requiere la capacidad de cumplir con todas las políticas y procedimientos de seguridad; comunicarse efectivamente con compañeros de trabajo y supervisores para asegurar que los proyectos se completen adecuadamente
