As an Analyst within the Currencies and Emerging Markets - Product Controller team you will be responsible for ensuring the business is compliant with rules regulation and standards related to profit & loss recognition risk reporting balance sheet and capital management and external reporting.
Job responsibilities:
- Prepare daily T1 trader profit & loss and risk reporting at a trader/desk level
- Ensure US GAAP general ledger accuracy and represent for external regulatory filings risk weighted asset (RWA) policy application and calculation
- Provide detailed analysis and reporting on the financials to desk heads business managers and senior finance management
- Partner with the business to initiate and implement robust controls and new business initiatives
- Partner with various stakeholders like Financial Control Valuation Control Group Market Risk Coverage and Legal Entity Controllers for various processes
Required qualifications capabilities and skills:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance Business or a related discipline
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in profit & loss and/or month end close process within the Product Control Financial Control Accounting or Audit function
- Strong analytical skills attention to detail and a strong control mindset
- Excellent communication skills and ability to develop strong working relationships
Preferred qualifications capabilities and skills :
- Understanding of financial products FX bonds and derivatives etc
