Steps away from the main public transit station What we offer:Highly competitive compensation package which includes base salary bonus benefits and career advancement opportunities! *Eligibility for benefits is dependent on the terms of employmentThe Opportunity:The Bilingual Insurance Representative is a role where youll play a key role in supporting the Residential Insurance Team by providing a combination of essential administrative assistance as well as insurance claims this role you will be responsible for a variety of tasks including managing incoming inquiries organizing documentation (reviewing updating and cancelling borrower insurance statuses) assisting with the team with special projects and crucially being a front line representative of the company and protecting the mortgagee interest while dealing with contractors insurance adjusters and borrowers during repairs and rebuilds to their home. You will work closely with team members to maintain accurate records contribute to departmental goals and ensure that all relevant insurance documents are properly administered tracked and accounted for. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop foundational skills in the insurance and mortgage industry while contributing to the overall efficiency and success of the team. Strong attention to detail excellent communication skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks at once are essential for success in this position. How you will contribute: Process and update insurance policies and cancellations related to mortgaged properties and ensure all insurance records are accurately updated. Review and monitor insurance coverage for mortgaged properties to ensure adequate coverage as per company to borrowers and insurance brokers in a timely manner to their inquiries regarding property insurance and provide assistance with insurance related insurance claims affecting mortgaged properties coordinate with borrowers insurance adjusters contractors and other third-party vendors to ensure repairs are completed in accordance with insurance and lender and review documentation from contractors and clients confirming completion of repairs to the properties.
