What you will do
Role Overview:
The Finance Associate supports senior team members in sourcing structuring and executing thirdparty financing transactions and contributes to the analytical and presentation materials required for EDPR NAs investment and financing decisions.
Main responsibilities:
- Build maintain and enhance financial models used for third-party financings (tax equity project finance DCF etc.) and internal decision-making processes
- Perform valuation and analytical work to support structuring and execution of third-party financial transactions (including tax equity partnerships tax credit transfers project finance or back-leverage financings) and other internal ad-hoc requests
- Assist with due diligence processes by collaborating with internal cross-functional teams and with external consultants (appraisers independent engineers etc.)
- Support senior Finance team members with the preparation of deliverables to achieve funding milestones
- Prepare materials required for asset marketing (project teasers info-memos factsheets) and for corporate decision-making committees
- Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve standardization within the team
- Perform additional duties as assigned

What are we looking for
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in finance or related field; MBA/Master of Finance preferred
- 2 years work experience in energy or finance
- Hands-on knowledge of valuation and financing modelling
- Direct work experience in the tax equity or project finance industry preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications; experience with complementary data tools a plus
- Competency in Analytical Problem Solving Strong Communication Customer/Partner Relationships and Technology Expertise preferred
