Minimum Qualifications:

Preferred Qualifications:

Masters degree in statistics mathematics computer science information systems economics finance marketing business or related field of study.

Maximum of 8 years of experience in statistics mathematics computer science information systems economics finance marketing business or similar field.

Python Experience

Experience with payment lending & savings or similar financial products.

Experience with key metrics related to Program/ Portfolio Management

The Data Remediation team at Bread Financial is responsible for quality and compliance of data that is used across multiple business functions. The Senior Data Remediation Analyst is part of the Data Remediation team and provides clean data that will help the other analytical teams provide guidance to our partners.

Essential Job Functions:

Create and Design - Prepare and check quality of data which the analytical team uses to create designs and support analysis in delivering quantitative and qualitative offerings in relation to the attributes and behaviors of the end customer. This includes but is not limited to custom demographic geographic financial and lifestyle profiles; transactional shopping and interaction activities; behavior hypothesis testing and data mining and customized reporting and analysis. Participate in strategic projects to identify enhancements to the Data Remediation team process and offerings that have a positive impact on Bread Financials ability to analyze information on clean and robust data. Apply knowledge of Microsoft Office tools SQL Python to execute daily work.

Data Visualization & Storytelling: Creating interactive dashboards and presenting complex findings using Microstrategy or Power BI to drive decisions.

Review and Evaluate - Extract data from a variety of customized sources with a number of tools and navigate and pull logical meaning around the data. Find and extract the needed data (Design) structure the output (Create) understand what it means and implies (Evaluate) turn the data into information (Optimize) and provide the results and recommendations (Deliver) directly to internal partners and third parties to directly impact business decisions.

Stakeholder Management & Collaboration - Proactively identify opportunities and communicate progress and status to key stakeholders. Present results to key stakeholders and leadership and bring feedback to the team. Independently manage and enhance relationships with business functional areas. Foster and lead collaboration effort among team members and across functional areas.

Team Support Build and maintain robust processes to enhance the quality of functional and technical deliverables in the team. Solve problems and make decisions with sound judgement. Provide continuous feedback on the overall project deliverable and raise concerns on bottlenecks that might be stalling the project.
