UWM is seeking an Engagement Summer Team Member to promote community awareness of our people-centric culture and mission of helping others. Our 12-week internship program offers an immersive experience with over 200 interns job shadowing access to senior leaders and extensive networking opportunities. WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
Coordinating and managing activities such as team-building events employee recognition programs and social gatherings
Raising awareness in communities and within our organization to promote the benefits of community efforts at UWM.
Conducting daily research on geographic trends and happenings toidentifyopportunities for community involvement.
Maintaining a calendar of events and ensure timely execution of all planned activities
Developing and implementing engagement programs and events that align with UWMs culture and values
Creating and distributing communication materials to promote engagement activities and encourage participation
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU
Graduating with a bachelorsdegree in 2026 or 2027(current junior/senior status)
The ability to work Monday thru Friday 40-hours a week fullyon-site in Pontiac MI from May 18th - August 7th
An openness to learning willingness to be coached and ability to be flexible in our every-changing industry
Event Planning PR or Communications preferred but notrequired
Strong customer service skills
Ability to thrive in a team environment
A strong work ethic
A drive to succeed
