As a Sampling Lab Leader in our Fragrance & Beauty Division you will be responsible for managing the daily operations of the sampling lab ensuring timely and accurate preparation of samples in alignment with customer requests and production needs. This role oversees sample planning resource coordination and quality consistency while driving efficiency through digital tools and continuous improvement methodologies. In this exciting role you will:

• Plan and coordinate sampling activities based on customer requests production schedules and material availability.
• Ensure accurate documentation and traceability of all sample orders including raw material usage batch information and submission records.
• Maintain and optimize sample-related master data and workflows in SAP system.
• Lead train and supervise sampling lab technicians to ensure efficient operations and adherence to quality standards.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Management principles to reduce lead time minimize waste and improve sample accuracy.
• Utilize AI tools and digital solutions to enhance sample planning resource allocation and data analysis.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including production quality customer care and planning to align sample priorities and resolve bottlenecks.
• Monitor key performance indicators (e.g. sample turnaround time on-time delivery rate right-first-time rate) and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Ensure compliance with safety quality and company policies within the sampling lab environment.

Your professional profile includes:

• Bachelors degree or higher in Engineering Chemistry Business or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of working experience in sampling production or lab operations preferably in fragrance flavor or chemical industry.
• Proficient in English (both written and spoken).
• Strong knowledge of SAP (master data order management reporting).
• Experience with Lean Management or continuous improvement tools (e.g. 5S Kaizen VSM) is preferred.
• Familiarity with AI tools or digital platforms for data analysis and process optimization.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel Word PowerPoint).
• Strong communication organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced cross-functional environment.
