Job Description
The Operations & Customer Experience Intern supports the Operations Lead and Coordinator team during peak summer months. This role focuses on assisting with day-to-day operational tasks improving customer communications and supporting conversion efforts through outbound follow-up. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone interested in logistics and customer experience. The intern will gain exposure to real-time problem solving workflow management and customer interaction.
Shift Schedule
Location: In-Office
Duration: Summer (June-August)
Days: Monday Friday (some weekend availability preferred)
Hours: 15-20 hours/week (flexible based on availability)
Key Responsibilities
Operations Support
Assist with daily operational tasks including tracking pickups deliveries and live photo monitoring
Support data entry and system updates across various tools
Flag issues or inconsistencies to the team for follow-up
Customer Experience
Respond to customer inquiries via email text and chat
Provide information on services pricing and order status
Escalate issues to the team when needed
Callback & Conversion Support
Conduct outbound calls/texts to customer with abandoned carts
Engage parents and students to complete Ship to School orders
Track outreach activity and share results with the team
General Support
Assist with peak-season projects and administrative tasks
Collaborate with team members to improve processes and customer experience
Requirements
Currently enrolled in a college/university
Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
Comfortable speaking with customers over phone text and email
Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel Word)
Highly organized with strong attention to detail
