ROLE SUMMARY:
Join AIM Chipinque. The Teaching Assistant supports the Teacher in delivering high-quality learning experiences and fostering a safe inclusive and positive classroom environment. This role involves working closely with students to provide individual or small group support assisting with classroom management preparing resources and contributing to the overall well-being and academic progress of all pupils. The Teaching Assistant upholds SEP requirements AIMs curriculum Inspireds educational philosophy and the schools safeguarding standards.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support the lead teacher in creating a joyful and nurturing learning environment
- Assist in setting up engaging age-appropriate learning and play activities
- Help guide children through daily routines fostering independence and confidence
- Provide attentive care during key moments such as arrival meals and transitions
- Encourage social interaction language development and emotional expression
- Maintain a safe clean and well-organised classroom space
- Support positive behaviour through gentle guidance and modelling
- Observe and share insights on childrens development and well-being
- Participate in school events and contribute to a vibrant school community
- Build warm trusting relationships with students staff and families
