HR Data Quality Analyst
Job Summary
About the Role:
The Workday Data Quality Analyst plays a key role in ensuring the accuracy consistency and reliability of HR data within Workday. This role focuses on developing dataquality frameworks executing systematic data corrections and partnering closely with HR and business stakeholders to maintain high data standards across the organization.
Responsibilities:
Data Quality Framework & Reporting
Develop maintain and continuously enhance the Data Correction Matrix and the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) governing all datacorrection activities.
Build update and oversee the Data Quality Reports Matrix to ensure consistent monitoring transparency and longterm improvement of dataquality processes.
Identify and leverage existing Workday standard reports that support dataquality monitoring or design and implement new custom reports when gaps are identified.
Execute scheduled dataquality reporting cycles ensuring timely distribution of results followup actions and coordination with relevant stakeholders.
Provide insights and recommendations based on recurring dataquality findings to support process optimization and prevent future issues.
Data Correction Execution
6 months to 1 year experience in performing proactive and systematic data corrections in Workday based on insights from dataquality reports and monitoring activities.
Collaborate with HR teams managers and other stakeholders to gather missing or clarifying information required to complete corrections accurately.
Ensure that all HR data is consistently accurate complete and aligned with global standards by maintaining a strong focus on continuous dataquality improvement.
Track and document correction activities to support audit readiness compliance and transparency.
Act as a point of contact for dataqualityrelated questions ensuring clear communication and alignment across teams.
Stakeholder Collaboration
Collaborate with HR squad HR and other business teams to clarify data requirements and resolve discrepancies.
Communicate data issues root causes and recommended corrective actions in a clear and structured manner.
Qualifications:
Ability to request and gather missing information in a structured and professional manner.
Clear and concise communicator able to work effectively with HR and business stakeholders. Ability to request and gather missing information in a structured and professional manner.
Strong documentation skills ensuring clarity traceability and compliance.
Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data findings into actionable corrections.
Comfortable working with large datasets and performing systematic data reviews.
Ability to work independently manage priorities and meet agreed timelines.
Proactive structured and processoriented working style.
Preferred Skills:
Technical Knowledge: Prior experience with Workday/UKG is a must.
Strong knowledge of Workday HCM including reporting data loads and business processes.
Experience with data quality management data auditing or HR data governance.
Ability to build and interpret Workday reports (Advanced Matrix Composite reporting experience is a plus).
Fluent in English
Able to work with confidential information in a mature way.
