Key Responsibilities
- Provide desktop peripheral and user access support for office personnel resolving hardware software and connectivity issues.
- Install configure and maintain desktop systems laptops printers and standard business applications.
- Administer user accounts permissions and access controls in accordance with IT policies and security requirements.
- Respond to service desk tickets diagnose technical problems and resolve or appropriately escalate issues.
- Track IT assets support equipment moves and upgrades and maintain accurate inventory records.
Qualifications
Required
- Active TS/SCI with a Polygraph
- Bachelors degree
- Minimum of 5 years relevant experience
- Experience providing hands-on IT support in a desktop or service desk environment.
- Strong troubleshooting skills for hardware software and basic network issues.
- Working knowledge of Windows operating systems and common productivity tools (e.g. Microsoft Office).
- Familiarity with user account management permissions and directory services (e.g. Active Directory).
- Ability to communicate technical information clearly to non-technical users.
- Experience documenting technical issues resolutions and procedures.
- Ability to manage multiple support requests in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and strong customer service skills.
- Ability to lift and move equipment weighing up to 20 pounds.
Desired
- Previous experience supporting a government or defense contractor environment.
- Familiarity with basic server administration or endpoint management tools.
Work Environment
- Location: On-site
- Travel Requirements: Minimal (020%)
- Working Hours: Standard business hours
