Job Summary
Qualifications:Must hold or be eligible to receive a valid Arkansas Teaching License with Grades K-6 Certification in MusicWilling to organize and carryout performances both during and after school hours The music teacher must direct and manage the overall program of music for the elementary dvhoold. Provide students with an opportunity to participate in extracurricular activities and ensure compliance with all state and district requirements. Duties and Major Responsibilities:Direct school music programsProvide for school choir participation at extracurricular events including concerts special events such as Christmas and spring concertsMaintain a current inventory of all fixed assets within the other duties as assigned. Other Job Responsibilities:Abide by state statues code of ethics school board policies and regulationsAttend meetings and perform duties as assigned by administrators and supervisorsTake all necessary and reasonable precautions to protect students equipment materials and accurate complete and correct records as required by law district policy and administrative current on instructional practices in education. (e.g. instructional technology)
