Purpose

Accountabilities

Leads a development team of and Pega developers and drives a customer focused culture throughout their team to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships systems and knowledge.
Invests in their teams technical and management skills to help them grow and develop as both engineers and leaders.
Is responsible for organizing their team in the most effective way possible. Ensures that roles are maintained to reflect required skills sets. Arranges schedules to meet support requirements while minimizing negative impact on team.

RUN and BUILD:

Is the Application Owner for the applications suite. Responsible for ensuring that software is delivered in a way that meets the business expectations while adhering to budgets schedules and development standards.
Own maintain support and enhance existing applications including regular code reviews for release activities production issue analysis and root cause analysis for production outages and implementation issues.
Takes guidance from and works with assigned solutions and platform architects to design solutions that meet requirements and minimize technical debt.

PARTNER:

Acts as the primary contact for Global HR as relates to the applications in their scope. Works with the business to create solutions end-to-end ensuring that designs are modern resilient and cost-effective
Assist in the review and evaluation of business initiatives product and projects and formulate insightful guidance and input to business leaders. Provides estimates of effort to achieve desired outcomes.
Partners with Project Managers to ensure delivery of initiatives in adherence to EDF and to achieve target outcomes.

GENERAL:

Understand how the Banks risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions.

Education / Experience / Other Information (include only those that are specific to the role)

Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or related discipline.
You have 6 to 10 years of Development and Team Leadership Work.
You have 2 years experience in delivery of large scale programs and global products
Specialized knowledge of PEGA systems (BPN) would be an asset.
Technical skills include expert java . Power Apps and PowerBI expertise is valuable.
Strong and proven analytical skills
Ability to work in a dynamic environment where processes and procedures are consistently refined
Strong capability to work with senior business leaders
Strong verbal written and communication skills in English and Spanish
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Strong people management skills and experience
