As aTechnicianinMammalian Upstream Manufacturing you will work hands-on withadvanced cell culture technologiesin a modern GMP facility. Your work will contribute directly to ensuring thatbiologictherapies are produced safely efficiently and according to the highest quality standards.
This role offers the opportunity to apply your technicalexpertiseincell culture and bioreactor operationswhile collaborating with experienced colleagues across manufacturing quality and development.
Where Upstream Expertise Meets Advanced Manufacturing
Inupstream manufacturing the process begins with thawing frozen cell banks and progresses through media preparation cell expansion and large-scale cultivation in bioreactors until the final harvest. Here the biologic product is produced by the cells before it ispassed onfor purification.
In your daily work you will help prepare production rooms and equipmentmanage media production and executeupstream processes such as cell thawing inoculation cultivation andharvest. You will work with technologies includingsingle-use bioreactors incubators and cell culturemonitoringsystems ensuring processes are executed according to GMP procedures and production records.
Your responsibilities will also include sampling and completing production documentation such as batch records and logbooks. Together with your team you will help ensure thatharvested materialis delivered to thedownstreamteam while maintaining strong quality documentation in collaboration withresponsible scientists and otherstakeholders.Youwill also participate in maintaining equipment readiness includingcontrolscalibration and system checks to support reliable production operations.

What Will Help You Succeed
We are looking for someone who enjoys working in a structured production environment and takes pride in delivering high-quality work.
Youlikely havea technical background such as Process Operator or Process Technologist and experiencefrommanufacturing environments within biotech pharmaceutical or similar industries.
Experience withcell culture aseptic techniques or bioreactor systemswill help you quickly contribute to the team. Just as important you bring a positive attitude reliability and a willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities.
Since procedures and documentation are handled in English fluency in written and spoken English isrequired.
