Job Summary
This internship offers a handson opportunity to turn what youre learning in the classroom into realworld training resources with meaningful impact. As a Instructional Design and Facilitation Intern youll build practical skills in instructional design elearning and collaboration while working on projects that support people and purposes worldwide. Youll gain valuable professional experience mentorship from experienced leaders and a portfolio of work that prepares you for a career in learning development or human resources.
This internship is designed to run for up to 12 months with a maximum of 20 hours per week.

Responsibilities may vary by assignment depending on department and need. The Intern receives assignments from supervising staff. The Manager reviews the Interns work occasionally. The supervisor reviews each assignment as it is completed. The Intern is expected to meet rigid and challenging deadlines work in harmony with other people take direction on each assignment and give full attention to detail. Independence in working tact and diplomacy are required. Sound judgment of Church doctrine history organization policy and protocol are also expected.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Content Development:
- Design and develop learning materials including manuals e-learning modules presentations videos and other multimedia resources.
- Ensure all training content is engaging clear and aligned with adult learning principles.
2. Collaboration and Facilitation:
- Work closely with subject matter experts to gather information and validate content accuracy.
- Collaborate with facilitators to ensure seamless delivery of programs.
3. Technology Integration:
- Integrate technology and multimedia elements into training materials to enhance the learning experience.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in training and development.
Qualifications
Qualifications
Paid Interns are qualified while enrolled in an educational institution and for one year following graduation. They must sign a Paid Internship Engagement Letter.
Education:Bachelors degree in Instructional Design Education Human Resources or a related field. A Masters degree is a plus.
Skills:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in e-learning authoring tools (e.g. Articulate Storyline Captivate).
- Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS).
- Excellent project management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
