Junior Financial Analyst (SECRET)

This role focuses on ensuring the accuracy of financial data supporting compliance with financial regulations and assisting leadership in achieving financial visibility and making decisions. Experience with the Defense Agency Initiative (DAI) is required to support financial transactions and Functions Responsibilities & Duties:Perform financial reconciliations variance analysis and transaction-level reviews to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial execution of financial transactions including commitments obligations and expenditures ensuring compliance with applicable policies and financial data and provide reporting to support leadership visibility into execution status and funding in researching and resolving financial discrepancies errors and system issues within with stakeholders to track financial activity and ensure proper recording and reporting of preparation of financial reports including status reporting execution tracking and audit support with quarterly and year-end financial reviews including dormant account analysis and financial data the Defense Agency Initiative (DAI) system to process monitor and report on financial development and maintenance of financial management documentation including SOPs and process support for audit activities including data calls audit sustainment and financial statement DARQ reconciliations and support in the creation of obligation modifications to clear unliquidated obligations (ULOs).Requirements:Candidates must be U.S. citizens per Government Secret degree required.A degree in finance accounting or a business-related discipline is strongly Defense Financial Manager Preferred not Financial Management Certification Level 2 Preferred not required.3 years of experience in DoD Financial Management is as a business analyst/project analyst/training coordinator for an OSD-level organization; candidates must demonstrate comparable skills and with the Defense Agency Initiative (DAI) is with G-Invoicing is strongly communication customer service and organizational be fully proficient in MS Office applications including Outlook Word and to work independently and develop strong client relationships to accomplish technical to uphold a strict level of discretion and Equal Employment Opportunity PolicyThe company is an equal opportunity employer.
