Job Description:
This role requires a professional who can bridge the gap between business strategy and technical execution ensuring a seamless transition from legacy systems to S/4HANA. The ideal candidate must possess a unique blend of technical SAP expertise high-level analytical skills and the interpersonal finesse necessary to manage stakeholders in a German corporate environment.
Strategic Steering
- Steer the right direction:Proven ability to act as a trusted advisor making critical architectural and strategic recommendations to keep the migration aligned with business and IT. Capable of challenging requirements and guiding the business.
- Business & Analysis:Strong background in bridging business requirements with technical solutions. Must be able to analyze complex business processes identify risks and translate them into technical specifications for the migration team.
- Patience:Demonstrated ability to navigate complex stakeholder landscapes with patience. Must remain composed under pressure.
Technical Expertise
- SAP Knowledge & SAP Analysis:Expertise in SAP ERP (ECC 6.0) and S/4HANA core modules technical and functionial wise.
- Data Modeling:Advanced skills in data modelingfor SAP environments. Ability to design efficient data migration strategies and define data quality standards
Communication & Cultural Fit
- Talking and writing:Exceptional communication and presentation skills. Must be able to articulate complex technical topics to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and concise manner. This role requires a consultant who can talk.
- High Consultant:A high consultant profilemeaning a top-tier senior professional who acts as an authority figure. This is not a junior or mid-level role; we require an individual who can command respect mentor junior team members and independently drive project streams with minimal supervision.
Tasks
- Act as the anchor and connector between German Business and IT
- Steer the project direction during critical phases proactively identifying roadblocks and implementing mitigation strategies.
- Facilitate and prepare workshops with business and IT leadership to report progress manage risks and blockers
- Conduct in-depth SAP analysis
- Solution Architect / Manager approach for critical problems
Qualifications
- Experience:8 years of SAP consulting experience with a minimum of 3 years focused on S/4HANA migrations.
- Certifications (nice to have):SAP Certified in S/4HANA Conversion or SAP Activate Project Manager is highly preferred.
- Language:English (professional proficiency) and German (nice to have)
- Soft Skills:High resilience diplomatic patience and a collaborative yet authoritative leadership style.
