The Senior Associate AI Solutions role at Portage Point represents a unique opportunity to contribute to the development and deployment of cutting-edge AI solutions that transform how the firm delivers consulting and advisory services. This Senior Associate will work within the AI Solutions team to build test and iterate on agentic AI workflows and automation tools translating consulting frameworks into scalable AI-driven products. This person will work closely with the Vice President AI Solutions collaborating across practice lines to deliver measurable impact. Responsibilities

Develop and deploy AI-powered solutions agentic workflows and automation tools that support financial and operational advisory and operational excellence
Build test and iterate on large language model (LLM) integrations prompt engineering strategies and AI pipeline components to deliver reliable and scalable outputs
Use AI coding tools (e.g. Claude Code) to accelerate development automate repetitive tasks and produce well-structured maintainable code
Collaborate with data science product and delivery teams to translate business requirements and consulting methodologies into functional AI prototypes and production-ready solutions
Support data pipeline development model evaluation and quality assurance to ensure AI solutions meet performance reliability and compliance standards
Conduct research on emerging AI tools platforms and techniques and bring forward actionable recommendations
Assist in the documentation of AI workflows technical specifications and best practices to support knowledge sharing and team scalability
Participate in internal training sessions and contribute to best practice development across the AI Solutions team
Support business development efforts by assisting with AI-related content proposals and client presentations
Support talent acquisition and firm-building initiatives
Contribute to a high-performing inclusive and values-driven culture

Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering Mathematics Data Science or a related technical field from a top undergraduate program
Willing to relocate to or be primarily present in Gurgaon
Ability to collaborate across global time zones including US-based teams
Three to five years of experience in AI/ML development software engineering or a related technical discipline; consulting or professional services experience is a plus
Hands-on experience building and deploying LLM-powered applications agentic workflows or AI automation solutions
Proficiency with AI coding tools such as Claude Code and strong coding fundamentals in Python or JavaScript
Familiarity with AI/ML frameworks APIs and orchestration platforms; experience with tools such as OpenAI Claude LangChain N8N or similar is preferred
Understanding of data engineering concepts including data pipelines structured and unstructured data processing and model evaluation
Awareness of responsible AI principles including bias detection explainability and data privacy
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
Superior written and verbal communication skills including executive-ready presentation and reporting skills
Proven ability to thrive in lean fast-moving teams
High attention to detail responsiveness and ownership mindset
Track record of success in high-pressure environments
Ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
