QC Microbiology Analyst

Were seeking a detail-oriented and motivated individual to support microbiological validation testing and lab operations in a GMP-regulated environment. This role involves performing endotoxin and bioburden testing preparing microbial cultures conducting growth promotion and supporting general lab maintenance. The ideal candidate has hands-on microbiology experience strong documentation skills and thrives in a fast-paced team-oriented setting.

Duties Include: 

• Endotoxin and bioburden testing 
• General lab duties (cleaning inventory stocking cold room 5S etc.) 
• Challenge recovery of in-process cell culture purification drug substance and raw material samples
• Preparation of microbial cultures used in for validation protocols developmental studies and growth promotion  
• Growth promotion testing 
• Mold spore suspensions  
• Plate reading 
• Data verification and review 
• Technical Writing
• Participation in continuous improvement initiatives

Qualifications :

• Bachelors degree in a science-related field
• 12 years of relevant experience preferably in a cGMP Quality Control Microbiology laboratory
• Hands-on experience with standard microbiological methods and aseptic techniques including:
  • Bioburden testing (membrane filtration)
  • Endotoxin testing (LAL)
• Familiarity with cGMP guidelines
• Prior experience working in a laboratory environment
• Experience using LIMS and electronic laboratory notebooks
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Solid written and verbal communication skills
• Strong understanding of experimental design and scientific methodology with the ability to interpret data and draw conclusions
• Authorized to work in the United States without restriction or the need for sponsorship
