Summer Internship

May 26 - August 14

Must be enrolled full time as a bachelor or masters student pursing a degree in electrical engineering or a related field.  Must not have graduated before September 2026

We are looking for a DSP ASIC Design Intern to join our Austin TX team.

Responsibilities

Comprehend and document existing DSP code in SystemVerilog/Verilog

Develop high-level DSP block design requirements

Define and document optimized micro-architecture for DSP algorithms to minimize power and area

RTL implementation in SystemVerilog/Verilog of DSP functions

Block-level verification including creation of Verilog or UVM testbenches

Perform block-level design checks including lint CDC and DFT-readiness checks


Qualifications :

 Must be enrolled full time as a bachelor or masters student pursing a degree in electrical engineering or a related field.  Must not have graduated before September 2026

 Experience with RTL coding preferably including fixed-point signed arithmetic functions

Strong programming and scripting skills in most of these languages: MATLAB Python C/C Perl Tcl Make Bash

Familiar with communication/DSP theory including filters FFT signal modulation techniques

Understanding of different DSP architectures and tradeoffs (including transforms filtering sample rate conversion etc.)

Strong logical and creative problem-solving skills with excellent analytical and debugging skills

Good written and oral communication skills
