Job Summary
- Lead aquatic classes ensuring safety and enjoyment for participants.
- Design plan and implement fitness and well-being programs tailored to the needs and preferences of senior residents.
- Conduct exercise classes including but not limited to strength training balance exercises aerobics yoga and other forms of physical activity suitable for seniors.
Hours and Compensation:
- Full-Time Position
- Hours: M-F 7:30am-4:00pm
- Pay: $20.50/hour
Qualifications :
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Associate or bachelors degree in Exercise Science Kinesiology Physical Therapy or a related field or credit hours toward a degree preferred. Relevant certifications or specialized training in senior fitness is highly desirable.
- Lifeguarding CPR and First Aid certification. Or willing to get certified.
- Proven experience in leading exercise classes particularly in a senior living community or related setting.
