Position Overview

This role focuses on delivering individualized instruction promoting academic growth and supporting students social and emotional development within inclusive classroom settings.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver specialized instruction in a cross-categorical special education setting
• Develop implement and manage Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Monitor student progress and maintain accurate academic and behavioral records
• Collaborate with general education teachers support staff and families
• Adapt lesson plans to meet diverse learning needs and abilities
• Create a safe structured and supportive classroom environment
• Participate in team meetings professional development and school activities

Required Qualifications

• Valid Special Education Teaching Certification
• Experience working with students with diverse disabilities

Skills & Competencies

• Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation
• Knowledge of cross-categorical special education practices
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Classroom management and behavioral support expertise
• Ability to adapt teaching strategies to individual student needs
