Job Summary
Position Summary
The Business Intelligence Sr Analyst NOLA is responsible for supporting the Business Intelligence function through high-quality data management reporting execution and maintenance of analytical tools and datasets. The role ensures data accuracy availability and operational continuity of BI processes enabling senior roles to focus on advanced analytics strategic insights and commercial decision-making.
This position requires a strong execution focus providing foundational analytical support across internal and external data sources for the North LatAm region.
Key Accountabilities
Data Management & Quality Assurance
Collect validate and consolidate data from multiple sources (Sell In Sell Out Nielsen internal systems).
Ensure data accuracy completeness and consistency prior to reporting and analysis.
Maintain and update master data catalogs and reference tables according to BI governance standards.
Execute routine data quality checks and support issue resolution with source owners.
Document data definitions processes and updates to ensure continuity and transparency.
Reporting Execution & Tools Maintenance
Execute recurring reports and dashboards according to defined schedules (daily weekly monthly).
Create maintain and update Power BI dashboards Excel trackers and standardized BI reports.
Support troubleshooting and basic enhancements of existing BI tools and reports.
Ensure timely availability of reports for commercial finance and supply stakeholders.
Support platform usage and adoption by ensuring stable and reliable reporting outputs.
Analytical Support
Prepare base analyses and datasets to support deeper analytical work led by the Sr Manager.
Support KPI tracking for Net Invoice Net Sales pricing inventory distribution and forecast accuracy.
Assist in preparation of inputs for ABP QFs and performance reviews.
Conduct standard analyses following predefined methodologies and templates.
Governance & Process Support
Follow established BI methodologies KPI definitions and reporting standards.
Support data harmonization initiatives across markets and systems.
Assist in regional homologation efforts by preparing standardized datasets and reports.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying data or process inefficiencies.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with Sales Marketing Finance and Supply teams to gather input and clarify data requirements.
Provide operational analytical support to ensure smooth execution of commercial and planning processes.
Scope & Impact
Functional scope: Business Intelligence data and insights reporting support.
Impact: Enables accurate timely and reliable analytics for commercial decision-making.
Decision authority: Executes defined processes; escalates issues and improvement opportunities.
Required Qualifications & Experience
Bachelors degree in engineering Data Analytics Data Engineering Data Scientist Economics Business Administration Finance or related quantitative field.
23 years of experience in Business Intelligence Data Analytics Business Development or reporting roles.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Power BI.
Experience working with structured datasets and multiple data sources.
Strong attention to detail and data quality orientation.
Ability to follow standardized processes and deliver to deadlines.
Exposure to Nielsen Sell Out or FMCG commercial data.
Basic knowledge of databases SQL or enterprise BI platforms.
English: Upper-Intermediate can communicate effectively in daily work situations.
Experience supporting planning forecasting or commercial reporting processes.
Working Relationships
Reports to the Business Intelligence & Revenue Sr Manager.
Regular collaboration with Sales Marketing Finance and Supply teams for data and reporting support.
