A Day in the Life
Medtronics Global Facilities Response Center serves as the hub of daily operations managing work requests dispatching work orders setting priorities and coordinating activities across facilities worldwide.We are seeking a Global Facilities Response Supervisor with strong process expertise solid operational judgment and business acumen to support the Bogotá Shared Service operations. This role is focused on ensuring operational excellence maintaining consistent service delivery and supporting day to day execution in alignment with global standards. This is an on site position based at our Shared Service Center in Bogotá Colombia operating on a compressed work schedule to support 24/7 operational coverage within a defined shift.
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
- Support the Response Center Manager in overseeing work requests aligning with facility resources and dependencies
- Ensure timely and consistent dispatch of work requests and facilities emergencies worldwide
- Lead the Global Facilities Response team (Specialists) in the Managers absence serving as primary escalation point
- Maintain clear communication between requestors and facilities teams to ensure continuity
- Monitor team performance against KPIs and flags trends or concerns to the Manager
- Provide daytoday support for onsite facilities staff using the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
- Participate in and facilitate periodic tabletop exercises for emergency facilities scenarios
Required Knowledge and Experience:
- Bachelors degree
- Fluent in English
- At least one year of experience in facilities operations response coordination or a similar support function
- Strong understanding of facilities management processes including maintenance work order management and emergency response coordination
- Ability to read and analyze dashboards effectively
Desirable experience with CMMS or similar project management systems (e.g. eMaint Maximo MainSaver Ultimo Fieldware Jira ) and prior supervisory experience are advantageous.
