Position Summary:
The Culinary Supervisor reports to the Culinary Manager. This position supervises the work activities of subordinate employees engaged in preparation delivery and sanitation of patient food trays. Maintains quality control by testing food for temperature taste proper portioning appearance employees within budgeted labor hours. Duties may vary according to assigned area or shift.
Education/ Experience:
High School diploma or GED required.
One to two years Supervisory experience preferred.
Knowledge/Skills:
Must be able to coordinate the routine responsibilities of staff and resources.
Presents self in a highly professional manner to others and understands that honesty and ethics are essential.
Ability to maintain a positive attitude.
Ability to communicate with co-workers and other departments with professionalism and respect.
Maintains a professional relationship with all coworkers vendor representatives supervisors managers customers and client representatives.
Ability to provide clear directions and respond accordingly to employees.
Ability to use a computer.
Shift:
Full Time (40 hours)
Rotating Shift
Weekend work required

Salary Range: Minimum 18.40/hour - Maximum 32.21/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
