Classroom Aide/ParaprofessionalHancock County Educational Service CenterJob Type/Title: Classroom Aide Middle/High School Autism Classroom Location: ESC Classroom at Blanchard Valley Job Description:- Candidate should have a great deal of patience to work with students with autism and/or behavioral issues- Candidate should have a passion for working with students in elementary school grades and be willing to assist with behavioral needs toileting and personal healthcare as needed- Provide appropriate support and encouragement to student- Assist student with class work in small groups and individually- Work under the supervision/direction of the classroom teacher and/or BCBA- Be willing to be trained to meet the behavioral and educational needs of the student- RBT (Registered Behavior Technician) trained or willingness to be trained
