Senior Product Manager – Logistics Networks, Shipment Technologies

Amazons Ship Tech (STS) team is responsible for key technology that enables planning orchestration and execution of transportation service to deliver billions of packages to customer globally. Our goal is to ensure the best delivery experience for customers across all geographies through a highly scalable adaptive and autonomous transportation network.

We are looking for a product leader to be a part of our multi-year effort to build products and services that will allow Amazon to rapidly partner with transportation providers to increase global network coverage across all modes of transportation. They will own critical Amazon services that seamlessly connect our carrier and seller networks and enable collaboration and execution efficiency. These services allow Amazon to provide our customers with fast flexible and reliable delivery options anywhere in the world.

The ideal candidate will have successfully built 0-to-1 products in the logistics and transportation space. You are able to synthesize a variety of technologies and capabilities and translate them into products that solve specific pain-points. You are analytical and data driven and are laser focused on measuring and improving the success of products you own. You will own the business model P&L feature development product roadmap customer segmentation and pricing and demand generation. You will drive product development across multiple cross-functional teams.

- 5 years of product or program management product marketing business development or technology experience
- Bachelors degree or equivalent
- Experience overseeing roadmap strategy and definition throughout the product life cycle from concept to end of lifecycle
- Experience with end to end product delivery
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Experience as a product manager or owner
- Experience owning technology products

- Experience in influencing senior leadership through data driven insights
- Experience working across functional teams and senior stakeholders
- MBA in supply chain management operations engineering analytics or related field
- 5 years of supply chain operations and logistics experience
- Can manage a high volume of requests and competing deadlines
- Experience understanding needs of business and end customers and translating them into right solutions
- 2 years of experience B2B Integration Tech (EDI API AS2 Gateways Security etc.)
- 2 years of experience in transportation & logistics systems (TMS WMS FMS)
- Proven ability and experience leading 0 to 1 products
- General Manager / owner mentality willingness to roll up your sleeves and do whatever is necessary
