About the Role
We are looking for aGroup Product Manager Ad Monetizationto lead the evolution of our advertising platform and maximize revenue through world-class product innovation. This role sits at the intersection ofprogrammatic advertising AI data science consumer behavior and platform engineering.
The ideal candidate should possess a deep understanding of thedigital advertising ecosystem be comfortable working with complex technical systems and be capable of driving product strategy across multiple stakeholders including engineering business GTM data science and partnerships.
This role needs a strong understanding of howadvertising agencies and programmatic buying teams operate including the dynamics ofOpen RTB Private Marketplace (PMP) Programmatic Guaranteed (PG) auction packages and curated deals.
You will own the monetization roadmap and build products that optimize yield improve advertiser outcomes and enhance consumer experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute the product strategy for the Ad Monetization platform.
- Build and optimize products across the programmatic advertising stack to maximize publisher revenue.
- Identify opportunities to optimize these channels and drive revenue growth by scaling auction-based monetization and deal-based demand.
- Partner with DSPs SSPs exchanges and internal ad-serving systems to improve auction efficiencyand fill rates.
- Monitor industry trends consumer behavior and emerging advertising technologies to inform product strategy.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to build scalable platform capabilities while understanding SDK APK and API integrations.
- Leverage AI-first thinking to identify opportunities for automation optimization personalization and intelligent decision-making.
- Design data-driven experiments and A/B testing frameworks to continuously improve monetization metrics.
- Work closely with analytics teams to derive insights from large datasets and translate them into product decisions.
- Partner with fraud prevention teams to improve traffic quality and safeguard advertiser trust.
- Influence cross-functional teams and communicate complex technical concepts effectively to senior leadership.
What Were Looking For
Must Have
- Strong understanding of the programmatic advertising ecosystem including publisher monetization.
- Deep knowledge of DSPs SSPs Ad Exchanges and how they interact with publishers.
- AI-first mindset with the ability to leverage Generative AI and machine learning to build better products and workflows.
- Strong understanding of analytics platforms and measurement systems.
- Experience with Programmatic Guaranteed (PG) Private Marketplace (PMP) and Open Real-Time Bidding (OpenRTB).
- Working knowledge of SDKs APKs APIs and how these components interact within mobile ecosystems.
- Excellent problem-solving and product strategy skills with a data-driven approach.
AI-First Builder Mindset
- AI-first thinker with the ability to leverage Generative AI for product strategy analysis experimentation and execution.
- Hands-on experience using AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code Cursor Windsurf or similar vibe-coding platformsto build lightweight tools prototypes and workflow automations.
- Comfortable rapidly translating ideas into working solutions without relying entirely on engineering resources and passionate about using AI to significantly improve productivity and product outcomes.
Ideal Background
- 1014 years of experience in Product Management with significant exposure to AdTech or Publisher Monetization.
- Experience working with large-scale consumer platforms advertising technology companies or digital publishers.
- Proven track record of shipping products that drive revenue and measurable business impact.
