Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Quality Control Chemist / Chief Chemist to lead the quality assurance function at a reputed agrochemical manufacturing facility in Raipur. The role is critical in ensuring the quality safety and compliance of watersoluble fertilizers pesticides herbicides and micronutrients. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in laboratory testing data analysis and regulatory compliance while driving continuous improvement in quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct routine and advanced testing of raw materials inprocess samples and finished agrochemical products
• Analyze test results using laboratory equipment and advanced analytical instruments; identify deviations and anomalies
• Collaborate with production teams to troubleshoot quality issues and implement corrective actions
• Ensure calibration maintenance and documentation of laboratory equipment for accurate results
• Maintain comprehensive records of quality control tests results and compliance documentation
• Develop and implement quality assurance procedures aligned with industry standards and regulatory guidelines
• Lead root cause analysis investigations and drive process improvements in QC operations
• Ensure adherence to safety regulations and promote a culture of compliance across the laboratory and shop floor
• Mentor and guide junior chemists and laboratory staff to enhance technical capabilities

Requirements

• . in Chemistry (mandatory)
• Minimum 10 years of experience in quality control preferably in agrochemical or chemical manufacturing
• Strong proficiency in laboratory equipment analytical instruments and data interpretation
• Indepth knowledge of industry standards SOPs and regulatory compliance in fertilizers and pesticides
• Excellent analytical problemsolving and leadership skills
• Ability to manage a team and coordinate with production R&D and compliance departments
