As a Security Officer Entry Authorization Driver in Columbia SC you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more. Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to staff visitors and authorized personnel by following site-specific access control procedures screening protocols and emergency response activities as needed.
• Monitor entry and exit points verify identification and credentials document visitor activity and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas within the location.
• Respond to incidents policy concerns and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner escalating issues to appropriate personnel when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas entrances and perimeter locations to observe conditions report unusual activity and support security-related operations.
• Communicate with site contacts staff and/or supervisors regarding access requests disturbances rule violations and other security-related concerns in accordance with post orders.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A tuberculosis test and MMR vaccinations are required in accordance with COLA DPSS/DHS requirements.
• Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
