PreSchool Assistant Teacher

We are seeking a caring enthusiastic and reliable Preschool Teaching Assistant to support our early childhood classrooms. The ideal candidate will enjoy working with young children assist in creating a warm and engaging learning environment and collaborate effectively with lead teachers and staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the lead teacher in implementing daily lessons activities and routines.
• Help maintain a safe nurturing and developmentally appropriate classroom environment.
• Assist children with social emotional and self-help skills throughout the day.
• Prepare materials set up learning centers and help with classroom organization.
• Supervise children during indoor and outdoor play meals/snacks and rest time.
• Communicate positively with students families and colleagues.
• Participate in staff meetings trainings and school events as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience working with young children in a school daycare or camp setting preferred.
• Warm patient and collaborative disposition.
• Ability to follow directions take initiative and support classroom management.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• High school diploma required; coursework or credentials in early childhood education a plus.
